Making it count

Easy to forget sometimes!
Great way to be reminded.

"Kairos (καιρός) is an ancient Greek word meaning the right or opportune moment (the supreme moment). The ancient Greeks had two words for time, chronos and kairos. While the former refers to chronological or sequential time, the latter signifies a time in between, a moment of undetermined period of time in which something special happens. What the special something is depends on who is using the word. While chronos is quantitative, kairos has a qualitative nature."

Around the world

Most of the long weekend was spent at HW's hen-do (which is a post all in itself, probably tomorrow...), but on the Monday the other half took me to see all of the eggs from The Big Egg Hunt all grouped together at Covent Garden!
We'd spotted a couple around the city, but it was amazing seeing them all together, 'in the flesh'.

So I didn't take pictures of all 100 of them, but couldn't resist snapping a few of my faves...

The frog & lizard looked weirdly life-like!

Loved the colours on this one

Can't help but imagine this egg in a stately home...or at a wedding.

LOVE the little bird sitting atop this egg! So cute.

Slightly unrelated, but the last egg reminds me of how I'd love a massive old-looking map like that on my wall.

Also sort of related, saw a great crafty-thing on pintrest that would make a really cute present...but on the off chance Adam's reading this, I'll save my idea for that for a couple more months!
