An online snap-shot of my skills...

I've been spending the past couple of weeks applying for jobs (some look really interesting - so fingers & toes crossed on that front!), and something that occured to me is that it would probably be a good idea to pop an example of something I did whilst at my recent internship, so this is a press release I put together, (with the photo I took and edited, then compiled the list of contacts, and sent out...)

Assembly Studios Appoints New Account Director for London Studio

"Assembly Studios has announced the appointment of Benedicte van Boxel as Account Director for its London studio.

Van Boxel has over 15 years’ experience in the new media and creative industries, having worked previously at RDF Media / Contact, Pictures Production Company, Red Bee Media (formerly known as BBC Broadcast) and Razorfish. Her new position will see her heading up the client services teams across the UK and UAE regions and maximising global development opportunities.

“I’m delighted to be joining Assembly Studios at such an exciting time’ said Van Boxel yesterday. ‘They’re a great bunch of people, lots of energy and fresh ideas; I’m really looking forward to the new challenge.”

Van Boxel will work closely with Managing Director, Richard Conner, and CEO, Matt Fairman.

Conner says: “We are always looking for ways to improve service delivery and ensure that our client partnerships are long term relationships, rather than flings. We’re delighted to have Benedicte on board – we know she’s exactly the right person to ensure we continue to achieve this.”

Van Boxel, the recipient of a number of industry accolades, including both an IMAA and Promax US Gold award for her work at BBC Broadcast, joined Assembly Studios this week."

As a result, is was posted on the Creative Boom website! Exciting stuff, eh?

A lot of the other things I did were more internal/confidential, so I can't really show any examples here...

However, I did set up a few different social media channels for Assembly Studios which you can check out if you fancy:

Assembly Tumblr.com

Assembly Behance.net

As well as managing the Assembly Twitter, Facebook (wich got shut down! Grumble.) and the Assembly Blog.

To be fair - quite a lot of fun for online 'geeking out', as it's sometimes refered to by The Boy. I wouldn't have it any other way!
