Happy List

This isn't a list of mine, but a list as featured on a blog I'm loving reading at the moment, Rockstar Diaries, but I love everything about it...

here is mallory's list of 10 things that make her terribly happy:

1. when the screen goes completely white during a movie & the whole theater is bathed in a beautiful glow
2. cutting my finger nails {strange but true}
3. any sandwich that involves toasting/grilling & cheese
4. the way a piece of paper feels after it's been covered with writing from a ballpoint pen
5. the faces of little kids listening to you while you read them a book
6. the feeling you get as you climb the first huge slope of a roller coaster
7. half-melted ice cream
8. the first time you're alone after a first kiss with someone & can privately & ecstatically freak out
9. getting a genuine & meaningful compliment
10. reading while taking a bubble bath

I first saw this image at the Tate Modern exhibition "Exposed". Have it on a postcard at home & absolutely love it.

What are you good at?

I was just reading Imboycrazy.com, & came across this blog entry;

Figure out what you love doing the most;

Painting, writing, fucking dudes, dancing, math, science, helping people, dating, matchmaking, blogging, typing, giving birth, organizing shit, cooking, eating, juggling fire, hypnotizing strangers, talking, thinking, listening, fixing stuff, picking zits (ie: esthetician), arranging, working at a flower store, taking over the world, politics, law, being a doctor, gardening, flipping houses, designing clothes, drawing, throwing parties, collecting stickers, being bossy, opening a gallery, taking photos, building websites, dj’ing, mediating, solving problems, drinking coffee, flirting, babysitting, massage, selling stuff, reading, making stuff, advising people, singing, whatevs, a desk job, retail, repeating yourself….whatever! just get really honest with yourself and admit what it is that makes you wanna wake up early in the morning to do it!

and then, ACTUALLY do it!

THEN figure out how to makes lots of money doing just THAT!

So this pretty much got me thinking...what am I good at? What do I enjoy doing? 

Weeeellllll...in no particular order...

Reading, typing, watching films, talking about films, talking in general, listening, editing, html, creating things, coming up with ideas, mood boards, drinking, socialising, the cinema, starbucks, tea in a glass, sleeping, being in the sun, shopping, food shopping, putting an outfit together, taking photos of random things I see, eating out, receiving flowers, interacting with people, blogging when I'm in the mood, laughing, trains, headphones, my blackberry, dogs (especially mine), buying presents for people, christmas, birthdays, knowing people remember silly (but important) things about me, hanging out with talented people (& learning things from them), balloons, tattoos, getting ready for a night out, gin & juice, groomed eyebrows, nail varnish, museums, London aaand...having the window open at night, so it's cold in the room, but warm in bed. Lush. ♥
